Column Regeneration

HPLC Columns.

Eliminate costly laboratory expenditures. ADVANCED SEPARATIONS extensively developed and proprietary column regeneration process ensures extended life and optimum performance of your existing columns. This process allows us to evaluate the life of the column and, in most cases, regenerate the column back to its original manufacturer specifications.

If the column is determined to be end of life, we will send the column back to you - or you may opt for the column trade-in program. The column trade-in program provides a discount off the US list price toward the purchase of a new column.

The Process for HPLC Column Regeneration:

Step 1. Provide the column set with most recent chromatogram
Step 2. Complete the Column Regeneration Form
            a. Be sure to include what the problems are with this column
                i. Pressure
                ii. Tailing
                iii. Poor resolution
                iv. Baseline
                v. Split peaks
            b. Include operating conditions
                i. Mobile Phase
                ii. Flow rate
                iii. Analytes
                iv. Calibration concentrations
                v. Type HPLC system in use
Step 3. Provide payment information:
            a. Credit Card
            b. Check
            c. Cash
            d. Approved purchase order with Net 10 days terms only
Step 4. Cleaning and testing charges per column
            a. Analytical Column Only- $249
            b. Guard Column Only- $149
            c. Column Set - $349
            d. Some column types or mobile phases will require extra fee
Step 5. Columns will be tested after cleaning
            a. Test chromatogram will be provided with cleaned column
            b. Test chromatogram will be sent to client
                i. Client may choose to have column returned
                ii. Client may choose to trade column in for discount on purchase of one of our columns
                   1. Discount off US list to be determined by column type – typically 10%
                   2. Free ground shipping
